Thermostatic draft regulator for solid fuel boilers designed to regulate boiler output by opening or closing the combustion air supply flap. It adjusts the boiler output so that the temperature of the working fluid (heating water, antifreeze, heat transfer oil) at the outlet of the solid fuel boiler reaches the values set by the knob. The regulator can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position. Its working position (turning the regulator) must correspond to the picture of the working position of the RT regulator.
It works automatically according to the temperature of the working fluid. The movement of the thermostatic element caused by the increasing temperature of the working fluid is achieved by means of a lever mechanism and chain transmitted to the combustion air supply flap to the solid fuel heat source. The flap closes and the source reduces its output. When the working fluid cools, a compression spring acts against the member, the combustion air supply flap opens and the source output increases.
